About the Role
Role - Teaching Assistant
Location - Newport, South Wales (NP19/NP20)
Hours - Monday to Friday (08:30 - 15:30)
Start Date - 1st September 2026
We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to join us for the new academic year of 2026/2027. If you're looking for a new challenge this academic year then this could be a great opportunity for you. We're looking for motivated, nuturing and passionate Teaching Assistants to join our team. You will work closley with teachers to support pupils' learning, provide targeted interventions and help create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsbilities:
- Supporting pupils in lessons, both indiviually and in small groups.
- Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparing and classroom organisation.
- Helping to deliver interventions for pupils who need additional support.
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Contributing a safe, inclusive and nurturing school environment.
About You:
We'd love to hear from you if you are: - Enthusiastic, paitent and committed to helping children succeed
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A strong communicator with good organisational skills
- Willing to learn and develop professionally
- Experienced in a school setting (desirable but not essential)
