Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant

Are you a fluent Welsh speaker looking to support children’s learning in a Welsh-medium primary school?

We are currnelty looking for a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a vibrant and supportive school in the North of Cardiff starting October 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference and gain valuable classroom experience.
The Role:

• Supporting pupils with their learning in Welsh across Foundation Phase or Key Stage 2
• Working 1:1 or with small groups
• Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and behaviour support

We’re Looking For:

• Fluent Welsh speakers (essential)
• Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
• A positive, proactive, and reliable attitude
• A passion for supporting children’s development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
