1:1 Teaching Assistant – Full Time

Location: Cardiff | Start Date: January 2026

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs? We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 ALN Teaching Assistant to provide personalised support to pupils in a vibrant and inclusive primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children’s lives while gaining valuable classroom experience.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their goals
• Work closely with teachers to adapt resources, support learning, and monitor progress
• Assist with behaviour support, routines, and social development
• Help create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

We’re Looking For:

• Experience supporting children with additional learning needs, ideally in a school setting
• A positive, proactive, and patient attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
