Teaching Assistant – September Start
Location: Cardiff
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Monday- Friday | 8:30-3:30 | Term-Time Only
Salray: £90 per day 

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across a range of ages and abilities. Whether it's helping a child build confidence in literacy, providing one-to-one support, or encouraging positive behaviour—you’ll play a key role in helping every child thrive.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children in class, individually and in small groups
• Assisting with classroom activities and preparation
• Helping to manage classrom behaviour with a positive apporach
• Providing support to children with additional learning needs
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
• Working as part of a committed and collaborative team

Requirements

• Experience working with children (in schools, nurseries, SEN settings, or similar)
• A caring, patient, and flexible approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
