About the Role:
Supply Hive Wales is seeking a passionate and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Cardiff. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), helping them thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one or small group support tailored to pupils’ individual needs
• Encourage student communication, engagement, and motivation in the classroom
• Support teachers in preparing learning materials, activities, and resources
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment in line with school policies

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
• Strong ability to build positive and supportive relationships with students and staff
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
