Nursery Assistant

Supply Hive Wales are currently recruiting for a Nursery Assistant to join a friendly and nurturing early years setting in the CF24 area of Cardiff.

This is a lovely opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and wants to be part of their day-to-day learning, development and growth. You'll be helping children build their confidence, independence and social skills while making sure they feel happy, safe and supported.

The Role

• Supporting children with their learning and development through play
• Getting involved in fun, age-appropriate activities and helping children explore new things
• Encouraging children's communication, confidence and social skills
• Supporting everyday nursery routines, including meals and personal care
• Creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment where children can thrive
• Working closely with the nursery team to support the children throughout the day

We're Looking For Someone Who

✔ Has experience working with children, whether that's in a nursery, school, childcare or another relevant setting
✔ Is naturally caring, patient and approachable
✔ Enjoys getting involved in children's play and activities
✔ Builds positive and trusting relationships with children
✔ Is reliable, enthusiastic and happy to be part of a team
✔ Has an Enhanced DBS or is happy to apply for one
