Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30-15:30 term time only

Role: 1:1 ALN Support 

Do you have a passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential?

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil within a welcoming and supportive school. This rewarding role involves working closely with a child who requires additional support to access the curriculum, develop confidence, and thrive within the classroom environment.

The Role:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil throughout the school day.
• Assist with academic learning and engagement in lessons.
• Support the child's social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers, ALNCo/SENCo, support staff and parents.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare or support setting.
• A patient, nurturing and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to follow support plans and work as part of a team.
• Experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), ASD, ADHD or behavioural needs would be advantageous but not essential.
